  Not possible to give zero stars, but I wish I could. I didn't rent from them, but I wish I had read the reviews here before I bothered applying and handing them $120 for the application fee for me, my fiance, and our co-signer. I went in and explained that due to a divorce, I had poor credit, my fiance had very young credit, but we had a cosigner with excellent credit. I was told that with a cosigner, we should be approved for a house on the south hill. I told them I didn't want to pay the application fee if I had no chance, that's why I was being up front about our credit situation. They happily took our money. I'm sure they collected thousands on application fees alone for that house. We were denied. I was told that there was another house available. They gave me the address and scheduled a showing. When I arrived, at least 5 other potential renters were there and waiting, and more showed up as we waited for the very, very late person who was to show it. After an hour, there was only me and one other person left waiting, so we decided to see what the back yard was like. There was garbage everywhere, and a piece of particle board with a nail in it got stuck in my shoe! I have small children, so there's no way that I could possible bring them to live there. We rented somewhere else that is clean and has reliable maintenance. I'm angry again because I pulled my credit report to see if everything is in order for us to purchase a home and see that they ran a hard credit inquiry on me TWICE, on 8/8 and 8/9. Don't rent here; don't even apply. Unless you like living in a slum and being ripped off.
